What is the best way to travel from NJIT (New Jersey Institute of Technology) to Bronx?
Hi, I was trying to figure out the best way to travel using public transportation from NJIT (University City) to Bronx, NY (New Lincoln Hospital near 149th St Grand Concourse) . I tried to use MTA.info but couldn't figure it out. I am from out of state and do not know much about the MTA routes. Any help/tips would be appreciated. Thanks so much!

Answer 1 :
I would go to Newark/Penn Station, and get the PATH train ($1.50) to West 33 Street in Manhattan. In Manhattan change to a D train ($2) headed for the Bronx. It runs along the Grand Concourse, and stops right where you want to go.
Answer 2 :
NJ Transit at Newark Penn Station to NY Penn Station, 33rd Street. then hop an uptown subway to the Bronx. njtransit.com mta.com Two sites to help you on your adventure.
Answer 3 :
Well NJIT isn't far from Newark's Penn Station at all. So I would just go to Penn Station and get a NJ Transit train to New York's Penn Station and after that it's pretty easy. Take the 2 train from Penn Station to 149th/Grand Concourse
